About Pastor Lalan

Pastor Lalan Mathew

Senior pastor, IPC Agape Stoke-on-Trent

Born, and brought up, in a Christian household. Pastor Lalan was saved and born-again at the age of 19, and subsequently got baptised and has been living in the Christian faith ever since. In 2008, he was ordained as an Evangelist by Pastor K.C Thomas (IPC Kerala State President). In February 2016, he successfully completed a Diploma in Christian Studies (via distance learning) from the Global Institute For Theological Studies, associated with Bethel Bible College, based in Punalur, Kerala, India. He was subsequently ordained as a Pastor with the IPC organisation, and officially took on the lead Pastor role at the IPC Agape Stoke-on-Trent Church.

Our main aim is to bring as many souls as possible into the Kingdom of God.

Outreach and Evangelism are of great importance to our church. Sunday worship, Sunday school, youth meetings, fasting prayers, and street evangelism are all key parts of our church.

John 3:16 states: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
